  Announcements (updated May 3, 2008)

• We are working on staffing our SU Team for 2008 - 2009.  Please consider volunteering for these important roles.  2008 - 2009 Roster.

• Leader/Volunteer Appreciation Dinner - Tues. May 13, 6:30 PM. Food will be catered by La Villa Roma!.  Contact Sue Tschida for info.

• New PHOTOS in our Photo Gallery!!  Check them out.

• As of April 15th, ALL Campers for Camp Franklin Park (June 23 - 27th) are Accepted!!! Registrations will be Wait-Listed (as of 4/15) unless we have more Adult Volunteers!!!  More info.

• First Aid/CPR/Level II first aid training will be held at the Leesburg Police Station on Sat. June 14th.   Visit GSCNC's training site to sign up.

• EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION - Return all your registrations in May.  This will guarantee a placement for the girls and adults for next year.  GSCNC requests that you fill out the form in FORMATTA.  By doing so and doing it ASAP, you'll be getting a monetary incentive and a beautiful patch!

• QSP Is underway.  Please encourage parents to set aside one subscription for the product sale.  Proceeds benefit the GSCNC camps.  Contact LaDonna Gamble for your SU QSP questions.  QSP ends May 21, 2008.

• Association Meeting - This spring, Monday, May 19th 7 PM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Leesburg.

• END OF YEAR PAPERWORK - due at May Leader Banquet on May 13.

• National Trails Day - Join us in the celebration of National Trails Day from 1PM - 4 PM on June 7 and earn the Get with the Land Patch.

• Camp Potomac Woods will be hosting a training blitz on all levels for most courses that you will need for the coming year on August 27th.  Stay tuned for details.
