  • Letterboxing and hiking.

  • Ask a person from the auto parts store to attend a Junior meeting for help with the car care badge.

  • Limited Too does a free field trip if you contact them. This could work for Brownies or Juniors.

  • Contact local pool about specials for scouts to work on the requirements of the Swimming Badge.

  • Contact local gymnastics or karate (for self-defense) places - ask for free class in exchange for sending their class schedules home with your scouts.

  • Help call BINGO, or serve cookies and drinks at an assisted living center.

  • Tour an art museum.

  • Go Christmas caroling.

  • Do a street or school grounds clean up service project.

  • Call the electric company and ask if someone can come to a meeting to talk with your troop.

  • Put on an etiquette party.

  • Volunteer at the food bank.

  • Attend a SU meeting.

  • International Paper company has info on tree identification, foresting, recycling, etc.
