Letterboxing and hiking.
Ask a person from the auto parts store to attend a Junior meeting for help with the car care badge.
Limited Too does a free field trip if you contact them. This could work for Brownies or Juniors.
Contact local pool about specials for scouts to work on the requirements of the Swimming Badge.
Contact local gymnastics or karate (for self-defense) places - ask for free class in exchange for sending their class schedules home with your scouts.
Help call BINGO, or serve cookies and drinks at an assisted living center.
Tour an art museum.
Go Christmas caroling.
Do a street or school grounds clean up service project.
Call the electric company and ask if someone can come to a meeting to talk with your troop.
Put on an etiquette party.
Volunteer at the food bank.
Attend a SU meeting.
International Paper company has info on tree identification, foresting, recycling, etc.
