Selling Girl Scout Calendars

Each Girl Scout's participation in calendar activities is an opportunity for her to begin learning important life lessons like goal-setting and financial responsibility.

2009 Calendar Sales Information

• Calendar Sale runs from October 11, 2008 through December 20, 2008 or while supplies last.
• Calendars may be purchased at local "depots".
• Three styles of calendars are available:  monthly pocket $4, monthly wall $5, spiral week/month planner $7.
• Use the links in the box to the right to access GSCNC's calendar page, calendar brochure and order form.
• The SU 70-2 Calendar contact person is in the highlight box on the right.

Benefits

Even more important than the funds troops earn from the Girl Scout Calendar Sale are the many life skills girls learn and practice during calendar sale activities:

• Communication - She becomes more comfortable meeting and talking to people.
• Teamwork - She works with others in her troop to achieve a common goal.
• Planning - She creates a plan, sets goals with deadlines and tracks progress.
• Finance - She uses math skills in real-life situations such as totaling orders, figuring bills and making change.
